It depends on the run. The November 2023 Hammer Jam only discounted buildings and traps, while November 2024 also covered heroes. Recent announcements just say upgrades are 50% off, so check the price on the upgrade button in the game.

No. The November 2025 announcement left Supercharges and Crafted Defenses out of the discount.
Does Hammer Jam speed up upgrades that are already running?
No. The discount is set when an upgrade starts, so upgrades already running keep their full time, and an upgrade you start during Hammer Jam keeps its shorter time after the event ends. Start your longest upgrades before it finishes.
Should I use Builder Potions or Hammers during Hammer Jam?
Potions, yes: they skip hours of an upgrade that is already half as long, so each one does twice the work. Books and Hammers finish an upgrade instantly whatever its length, so they're worth more on full-length upgrades after the event.
Can every Town Hall level take part in Hammer Jam?
Yes. Supercell's November 2025 announcement opened it to all Town Hall levels.
Why does Hammer Jam come before a new Town Hall?
It helps players finish their upgrades before the next Town Hall arrives. Runs have come before Town Hall 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17, and the November 2026 run comes ahead of Town Hall 19, announced for mid-November.
